Who we are
Conscious Early Learning is run by Sarah Findlay in Napier, New Zealand. We follow the Privacy Act 2020. If you have a question or a request about your information, email sarah@consciousearlylearning.com.
What we collect
Your name and email address when you sign up for a free resource or our email list.
Your name, email address and payment details when you buy a course. Payments are handled by Stripe or PayPal, and we never see your full card number.
What you choose to share with us in emails, messages, coaching sessions or course groups.
How people use this website, through Google Analytics, and later the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) pixel. This covers pages visited, the device and browser used, rough location and how you found us. It doesn't tell us who you are.
How we use it
To send you what you asked for and give you access to your courses.
To send our emails. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
To understand which pages and courses help people, so we can improve them.
To show our own ads to people who have visited the site, if we use the Meta pixel.
We don't sell your information or share it with anyone else for their own marketing.
Where it's kept
Our website, courses and email list run on systeme.io. Payments go through Stripe and PayPal, and email through Microsoft 365. Website analytics are held by Google and, if used, Meta. Course groups and live sessions may use Telegram or Zoom. These providers may store information outside New Zealand, and we choose ones that protect it.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while you're on our list or enrolled in a course, and for as long as we need them for tax records after a purchase. Ask us and we'll delete what we don't need to keep.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing sarah@consciousearlylearning.com. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
Cookies
This site uses cookies to run the website, keep you logged in to your courses and measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work without them.
